A man who needs something to hum
Question:
I'm going through a break-up. What songs should I have on my iPod?
Goofball Answer:
Man,
As a man who's had to sing his way through a few break-ups, I think I can be of some assistance. But you haven't given me much to work with in the way of details here, so I'm going to have to chamber a shell in the ol' advice shotgun and let loose with some pretty broad advice...
Break-ups come in many shapes and severities. But there are songs for any scenario, so I'll run my way through some of the more common break-up states and try to suggest a few tracks that can help ease the pain, bring understanding, fuel the rage, cause reflection on the good times, and whatnot. These aren't in any particular order, mind you, as I'm just throwing 'em down as they come to me. And I'll probably come back to add more, so look for updates to this one.
