Done and Said — July, 2007
Life's not to win, life's just to live–
to be glad you're here and to take and to give,
to ponder and tinker and wonder and chance,
to fall on your face and dust off your pants.
Love's not to win and love's not for show.
Love is to share and to learn and to grow.
Love should be quiet and gentle and mild,
and love should be daring and playful and wild.
And when all is done and when all is said,
I'll bet that I've toiled and suffered and bled.
And I hope that I've triumphed, prospered, and shared.
Because in life and in love, when it mattered, I dared.
